Poop
- Each time your pet eats pizza or drinks beer, there is a chance it will poop
- The chance is 23% for pizza, and 69% for beer
- After pizza or beer, babies poop immediately if they are going to poop, but other stages have delayed poops
- The delay for non-babies between eating (or drinking) and pooping is randomly chosen between 0 and 7 game-days
- Delayed poop shows up in the "pet stats" display, as "poop incoming"
- You can have any number of poops in the pipeline (as it were). They don't necessarily come out in order: yesterday's pizza poop might come out after today's beer poop for example
- If coffee is in effect at the time of eating or drinking, the poop delay is divided by 1.6
- Drinking coffee after pizza or beer doesn't affect the time the poop from that item takes to happen
- Poop stays around until you shower your pet
- Poop builds up. Pets can have multiple poops
- Each poop multiplies the pet's rate of health loss by 1.5. This is multiplicative, so:
- 1 poop speeds health loss by 50% to 1.5 hearts per day if no drugs are affecting the health loss rate
- 2 poops speed health loss by 125% to 2.25 hearts per day
- 3 poops speed health loss by 237.5% to 3.375 hearts per day
- 4 poops speed health loss by 406.25% to 5.0625 hearts per day
- Little known poop nuggets:
- Pets can only poop once per block. If he has multiple poops queued up for the same block, only one will appear in the due block. The rest will be postponed to the following block(s)
- Poop multiplies the rate of health loss by 1.5 per poop. This blows up exponentially with the number of poops, but pets can lose at most 1/3 heart per block. When on steroids, you are already losing 1/3 heart every 24 blocks. It only takes 8 poops to max out the rate of health loss to 1/3 heart per block. For a pet not on any drugs it takes 10 poops to max out the health loss rate.
- Here's a simulated run where the pet has 44 poops. We see it only losing 1/3 heart per block:
- Historical:
- The health rate loss multiplier used to be 2.0, but this was changed to make poop less dangerous
- The @Pizza_Pets X account claimed that "Poop will now only speed up health decline rate by 1.4x for EACH poop":
- But the code says it's 1.5x:
