Pineapples

• Ralf is working on an evil device to mass murder the pizza pets. They are alternatively known as the "pet pulverizer", the "exploding pineapples", or the "doomsday devices"
• There are 6 different colored pineapples inscribed under Ralf's pizza ninja
• On 10th December 2024, the 6 pineapples were inscribed into the Ninjalerts Corp wallet in this transaction. This is a little suspicious. If Ralf created the pineapples, why were they created in the Ninjalerts wallet?
• In the early hours of the morning on 30th December 2024, the black and yellow pineapples were moved to a new address. What does this mean? We don't know
• On 30th December there was a new tweet with information about how the pineapples will work
• Most pets have a weakness to one of the 6 colors of pineapple. You can see it in the "pet stats" when viewing your pet
• 1 in 500 (0.2%) pets were created with immunity to pineapples, and these trade at a premium
• The 6 pineapples were distributed:
  • Red, green, and blue pineapples were distributed for free to individuals in the community through the following challenges:
    • Discovery of Ralf's Seed Phrase. Ralf's 4-megger pizza ninja contains some clues (click the rocket in the top left corner)
    • Discord Raffle to Team Ralf or Team Ninjalerts (Determined by community vote)
    • The address with the greatest number of dead Pets
  • Yellow, white and black pineapples were sold via traditional auction to raise funds for continued game development. Auctions had no reserve and started at a 0.01 BTC bid:
    • The yellow pineapple sold at auction for 0.260221 BTC on 2nd Jan 2025
    • The white pineapple sold at auction for 0.4444 BTC on 3rd Jan 2025
    • The black pineapple sold at auction for 0.42069 BTC on 4th Jan 2025
• entry 21 in Ralf's journal in the above ninja inscription mentions that he completed the pineapples on Dec 31st
• The pineapples can be triggered to explode by inscribing any child under them. Presumably the feeding sites will offer a way of doing that, like they currently do for feeding pets
• Once a pineapple is triggered, it takes 12 game-hours to explode. During that time your pet will display a pineapple in the top-right corner where the poop icon appears, whether your pet is vulnerable to the incoming pineapple explosion or not. In this example the red and green pineapples have both been triggered:

  

• When it explodes, it kills all pets who have a weakness to that color of pineapple, except:
  • Eggs, babies, and immortals aren't affected
  • The 0.2% of pets with immunity aren't affected
  • Pets with lotion applied aren't affected - but lotion only has effect for 6 game-hours
• So if your pet is a child, teen, or adult and doesn't have immunity, you need to feed lotion no more than 6 game-hours before the pineapple explodes
• Each pineapple can be used an unlimited number of times, however, it must go through a recharge period after each use before it can be used again:
  • White - 5 game-weeks
  • Black and yellow - 6 game-weeks each
  • Red, green, and Blue - 7 game-weeks each
• There is a common misconception that LSD will protect against the pineapples. I see no evidence that that is true. Same for cocaine. This probably came from the fact that LSD can be used to stop a pet from evolving, so it can stay in the baby stage where it is protected from pineapples.
